With over 30 years of experience in cleantech, energy, finance, and venture capital, he has built NGIF into one of Canada's leading cleantech platforms, connecting technology innovators with the country's energy producers, pipeline operators, and utilities to pilot,

John Adams is the President and CEO of NGIF Accelerator. With over 30 years of experience in cleantech, energy, finance, and venture capital, he has built NGIF into one of Canada's leading cleantech platforms, connecting technology innovators with the country's energy producers, pipeline operators, and utilities to pilot, validate, and commercialize emissions-reducing solutions. A Clean50 honouree and ICD.D-designated director, John serves on several industry and cleantech boards, including the Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN). He has been named among World Biz Magazine’s Global Top 100 Innovation CEOs and obtained his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Toronto, CA.

Akhil Abat is the Chief Operating Officer of NGIF Accelerator, where he leads the operations and delivery of NGIF's technology and innovation programs. He plays a central role in NGIF's evaluation and investment process to build a diversified portfolio of emissions reduction projects. Akhil brings more than two decades of experience in project management and engineering for complex capital projects across oil and gas, natural gas processing, pipelines, and infrastructure, with previous senior roles at Cairn Oil & Gas and Rolta. He has a Bachelor of Technology (Chemical Engineering) from Kurukshetra University in India and a dual MBA from Queens University, Canada, and Cornell University, US.

Abdul Qadir is the Chief Financial Officer of NGIF Accelerator, where he oversees corporate finance, accounting, financial reporting, and financial governance across NGIF's programs. With two decades of international experience, he has extensive expertise in financial strategy, reporting, internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance. Prior to joining NGIF, Abdul held senior finance leadership roles across the technology and telecommunications sectors, leading complex financial operations and driving organizational performance.

Abdul is an active member of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association's (CVCA) CFO Committee. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA from the University of London, UK.

Ray Kwan is a seasoned executive with extensive operational and financial expertise in the renewables and energy sectors. As the Chief Financial Officer of Tidewater Renewables, Ray led the strategic and financial direction of its first standalone 3,000 bbl/d Hydrogenation Derived Renewable Diesel (HDRD) facility, with an annual budget of ~$200–250MM.
